Infopost: He's Tol, She's Smol, My Clever Title is Too Long

Hey folks! Since I dropped a mostly up-to-date infopost for the newbies a few months back over here, I'm gonna just focus on my newbies for this one now! Here, have my brightly-coloured car-named travelling adventurers with self-image issues.

The Student: Vette

She's Blue, Da Ba Di...

- Comes from Star Wars: The Old Republic. Because I've been playing that game for far too many years now and really it's a wonder I didn't app someone forever ago as it is.
- Is blue. Is a Twi'lek. Is from roughly the same era as Theron and Lana are, and wouldn't know either of them.
- Comes from about five years pre-SWtOR canon, has been running around with Twi'lek relic hunters and living on Nar Shaddaa for a few years.
- Has quite the resume behind her, including slave, pirate, thief, and assassin, if the price is right. She's no stranger to prison, and prison is no stranger to having her break out of it.
- Yeah, she can break into pretty much anything, and slice (hack) into whatever the heck she wants. It's a whole plot point. It's the whole reason she becomes your companion in SWtOR in the first place.
- She's playful, cunning, and occasionally ruthless, likes anti-authority behaviour and protecting the weak, haaaates kiss-ups, bullying, and hurting the innocent, and can eventually be won over by shoving cultural artifacts, luxury items, and anything you're not actually supposed to have at her by way of gifts.
- If she ever gets her hands on a really, really big gun, run.

It's Not Easy Being Green...

- It's pronounced 'Ford.'
- Comes from the second campaign in Critical Role. Yeah, he's another one of those liveplay D&D game boys, so his character mechanics will be kind of similar to Magnus and Taako's, but his world and storyline are vastly different.
- Is a half-orc warlock. A hexblade, which means he's got a pact weapon that binds him to his patron, who is some sort of eldritch monstrosity from the deepest, darkest depths of the ocean. He's also apparently lawful good. He definitely acts lawful good. He is a big good boy who believes that people should do what they say they're gonna do, anyway.
- He never knew his parents, grew up in an orphanage, was bullied for being the oddly-proportioned green kid with tusks (he does not currently have tusks and that actually hurts my heart), and somewhere in there he did a good deal of sailing on merchant ships along the Menagerie Coast.
- He's making his appearance pre-campaign. Level two! Level two! This means he doesn't know most of the Mighty Nein with the exception of Jester, who he doesn't know well.
- He's fairly stoic, occasionally viciously pragmatic, wouldn't know how to flirt if his life depended on it, intensely compassionate, and also terribly allergic to cats.
- And yeah, if you have any magical weapons or artifacts, don't let him touch them? They might eat eaten. It's a whole thing.
- He speaks in a deep voice with a Texan accent. Most of the time.
- I still have no idea where he's gonna live, oops.

Same info for me as always, that stuff IS up to date from the one I linked up top.
